Luxembourg National Day Reception in Kigali

The Embassy of Luxembourg was honoured to celebrate Luxembourg's National Day in Kigali on 23 June in the presence of the Guest of Honour, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier Nduhungirehe, as well as Ambassador Jeanne Crauser, who marked the conclusion of her tour of duty in Rwanda.

The reception brought together around 180 guests, including members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives, partners, and many friends of Luxembourg. It was a wonderful evening of friendship and conviviality, complemented by a selection of Luxembourgish specialties.

Guests also left with small gifts in the form of locally produced seeds and fruit tree seedlings, cultivated by cooperatives and future Centres of Excellence supported through Luxembourg's bilateral cooperation programme—a fitting illustration of Luxembourg's "Growers' Mindset" in action.
